Who we are
Tools Up Foundation is a non-profit organization passionately committed to offering premium construction education and hands-on training to youth and young adults. Our mission is twofold: to revitalize the community and to empower our participants with the essential skills and opportunities to establish a sustainable livelihood through their expertise.
With a deep understanding of the challenges faced by underserved communities, we strive to provide comprehensive training that goes beyond technical knowledge. Our program empowers participants with a holistic skill set that includes construction techniques, safety protocols, project management, and entrepreneurship.
About Our Founder
Dominique Jones has over 10 years experience within the construction industry. She is also Founder and CEO of D. Jones Construction, a General Construction firm, and Jones Development, a Real Estate Development and Investment firm. After seeing first hand the major lack of diversity within the construction industry, she vowed to create a revolving door of skilled professionals that look like her, through the Tools Up Foundation. She is also heavily involved in the foundation by being an active Mentor and Instructor.

Pave the Way Up - Pre-Apprenticeship Program
Our unique "Pave the Way Up" Pre-Apprenticeship paid program is a 10-week part-time program specifically designed to introduce you to various trades within the construction industry.
Build Up - Construction Project Management Training Program (TBA)
Our "Build Up" Construction Project Management Training Program is tailored to equip participants with the necessary skills for entry-level field and office project management roles.
Invest Up - Real Estate Investment Training Program (TBA)
The "Invest Up" Real Estate Investment Training Program is specifically designed to expose students to the dynamic and lucrative arena of fix and flip real estate investment.
